Dr. Takacs is the owner of Sleep Better Lexington and the founding dentist at Beaumont Family Dentistry in Lexington, Kentucky. She started practicing dentistry in 1984, shortly after receiving her dental degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, where she graduated with high honors.

Dr. Takacs is an advocate for continued education and the use of modern technology and techniques to improve the comfort and care of those around her. Her dedication to her patient’s all-around well-being is what led her to dental sleep medicine. 

She has spent more than 15 years honing her skills and completing advanced training in this field to help central Kentucky residents find a better night’s rest. Her investment in the comfortable and effective treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea led to the opening of Sleep Better Lexington, in 2017.
